Concorde Hotels, the prestigious collection of 77 luxury hotels, has appointed Elaine McCormack to the role of regional director of sales and marketing for UK, Ireland & Scandinavia.
McCormack will head up the Concorde UK sales team, based in London. She joins from Millennium and Copthorne Hotels where she held various sales positions, latterly Director of Sales at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel.
McCormack has more than 15 years of combined experience in the hotel industry, especially in the MICE segment, and says of her appointment at Concorde, �I am delighted to be joining such a prestigious group as Concorde Hotels and excited by the challenges that my new role offers. I am confident that my experience particularly in the UK MICE market, which is a key segment for Concorde, will enable us to increase brand awareness thereby driving revenue and market share for our key properties.�
