Egypt Bookings Continue To Rise

Libra Holidays

One of the UKs largest independent tour operators has seen bookings to Egypt continue to rise, despite the Sharm el Sheikh bombings of six weeks ago.

Libra Holidays have reported that bookings for 2005 are up 90% on last year, and passenger numbers have remained strong even after the bombings.

Sales and marketing director Paul Riches said that customers have clearly been undeterred by the possibility of terrorist attacks.

Customer attitudes have changed in the current climate, and most people are still happy to book a holiday to their destination of choice, regardless of the threat of terrorism, he said.

Libra Holidays is currently offering savings of up to 50 per booking and nil flight supplements on all UK departure airports to Egypt, if you book on or before 30th September 2005. Prices start from 399pp for a seven night stay at the newly built Renaissance Golden View Beach Resort in Sharm el Sheikh, based on two sharing B & B, departing from Gatwick in September

Nile cruises cost from just 449pp for seven nights full board on the Domina Prestige, including excursions, departing from Gatwick or Manchester between the 26th September to 30th October 2005.

All prices include return flights and transfers. To book, contact Libra Holidays on 0871 226 7825 or visit www.libraholidays.co.uk.
