In spring 2016, the Dutch theme park Efteling, located in the south of Holland, will be opening a new fairytale in its Fairytale Forest: Pinocchio. The mischievous wooden puppet who wants to become a real boy, is Efteling's 29th fairytale. But Efteling has more to offer to celebrate spring and enjoy the summer. On 18 June, the Efteling Midsummer Festival will take place in the park. A magical festival with live performances, DJs and entertainment to get you in the summer mood. Summer gets off to a good start this year, because in July and August Efteling will celebrate summer with daily extended opening hours and nine special summer evenings.
