EasyJet Launches Yet More Services From Paris Orly

easyJet

Following last weeks announcement that easyJet, Europes number one low-cost airline, was starting services from Paris Orly to both Nice and Toulouse, the airline today announces additional services to Marseilles, Milan Linate and Barcelona.

Services start on 15th July bringing the number of routes offered by easyJet from Paris to nine (and 105 routes in total). There will be three daily return services to Marseilles and one each to Milan Linate and Barcelona.

Fares, including all taxes and charges, start at 21.97 for Marseilles; 29.47 for Milan Linate and 36.97 for Barcelona.

Ray Webster, easyJet Chief Executive, said:

We have made it perfectly clear that we are very unhappy with the implications of the redistribution of slots previously held by Air Lib at Paris Orly. Rules which are meant to increase competition to Europes most dominant airlines have had exactly the opposite effect in Paris.

However, despite this, we are pleased to be able to offer French consumers additional routes from Paris and hope that, in time, the number of routes and frequencies will increase enabling us to offer even lower fares to even more people.
