easyJet Awards Geneva Ground Handling Contract To Swissport

easyJet

easyJet today announces that it has given a four-year contract for the handling of its aircraft and passengers at Geneva Airport to Swissport. The four-year contract comes into effect on December 1st 2005. Swissport will handle around 250 flights each week for easyJet. Swissport will also acquire all easyJet assets at Geneva and retain its processes and systems.

Jean-Marc Th�venaz, Managing Director of easyJet Switzerland, said: �Our good working relationship with Swissport at other European locations and the attractive offer for Geneva prompted us to come to this decision, which, on behalf of everyone involved, I warmly welcome�. easyJet currently operates 221 routes between 65 airports in Europe and offers 23 routes from Geneva. easyJet and Swissport already work together at Paris CDG, London Gatwick, London-Stansted, Hamburg and Basel.
