Easter fun continues at the Ironbridge Gorge Museums until Sunday 15th April
The Bank Holiday weekend may be over but there's still lots happening across the Ironbridge Gorge Museums for families to enjoy throughout the remainder of the Easter school holidays until Sunday,15th April. Join hands-on workshops with a 'Create Something New' theme, take part in fun activities and follow family trails.
Head to the Good's Shed at Blists Hill Victorian Town and have a go at printing a poster to take home. See chicks' eggs being kept warm in the incubator; discover how to see inside them and, if you are lucky, watch the baby chicks hatch. Then find out how chocolate eggs are made and follow clues searching for hidden Easter bunnies around the Town's historic streets and inside the Victorian shops and cottages.
Get creative at Enginuity and join workshops, which use pneumatic power and craft materials to make fun bunnies that pop out of their burrows and eggs that crack open to reveal the surprise inside. Afterwards play with the interactive exhibits and follow a self-led family trail around the museum. You can also go along to Coalport China Museum and join family workshops to paint a money box, fridge magnet or paper plate with baby animals. Then over at Jackfield Tile Museum you can create your own Easter themed designs at drop-in tile decorating sessions Monday to Friday until 13th April.
Make the most of daytime visits to the Ironbridge Gorge Museums with a great value Annual Passport Ticket, which allows multiple visits into all 10. It costs £26.50 per adult, £20.50 for seniors, £16.50 for children (16 years or under), £70 for a family of two adults and all their children and £50 for a family with one adult; under 5s free (terms and conditions apply).
