Children will be able to fill their own Easter baskets with Easter eggs as they solve each of the clues, ready to share with the family. Located just around the corner from St James' Park tube, arrive in the hotel's pretty tree-lined courtyard, make your way to the beautiful Crystal Ballroom where the Easter Egg Hunt will begin, followed by a delicious selection of savoury and sweet treats, as well as unlimited prosecco. The younger members of the family can also enjoy their very own teatime delights and go on an adventure to see the Hotel's 350,000 Buckfast Honey bees hard at work on the third floor Bee Terrace! Created by Executive Head Chef, Alexander Boyd the new Easter Afternoon Tea menu includes a variety of delicious sandwiches and savoury bites as well as seasonal treats such as a Chocolate plant pot with a hazelnut and chocolate mousse, Chocolate, coconut and cherry pavlova and aCaramelised white chocolate macaron. Alongside the Easter Egg treats, children will enjoy a Vanilla mousse, mango and passionfruit compote and Do-it-yourself shortbreads. Kids will also receive a lovely gardening pack from Mud & Bloom including organic seeds to take home.All teas are served with freshly baked scones, clotted cream and homemade jam.
