If an egg hunt is just too sickly sweet for your children this Easter, why not treat them to a hunt for bugs and beasties at Trevella Park in Crantock, Cornwall.

The award-winning holiday park, which has held a David Bellamy Gold conservation award for 15 consecutive years, is launching Easter ranger activities for the first time, with daily sessions starting from 12 April and running through the school holiday period.

Adventurous activities include pond dipping, fishing for beginners, bug hunts and rock pooling, with participants exploring the woods, fields and lakes around Trevella Park, and venturing along the Gannel Estuary to sandy Crantock Beach.

Sessions are free to take part in, with holiday prices starting from as little as £254 for a four-night short break in a two-bedroom holiday home from 14 April.

Trevella Park is located on the North Cornwall coast in Crantock, near to Newquay. The huge sandy beach at Crantock is a short walk away on a route that passes rope swings and runs alongside the Gannel Estuary.
