EarthCheck has entered into a strategic partnership with Purdue University to support the University’s School of Hospitality and Tourism Management.
The agreement signed this month will provide students with access to EarthCheck’s global benchmarking and certification platform which is now delivered in over 80 countries across the world. In addition the partnership provides an opportunity for EarthCheck’s Research Institute to provide students with access to over $260 million of research and development which was developed by the Cooperative Research Centre for Sustainable Tourism in Australia.

Students will be able to use the EarthCheck program to better understand the operational challenges facing leading tourism operators and the actions that can be taken to assist companies to reduce their environmental footprint, deliver bottom-line operational efficiencies and maximise guest experience. EarthCheck will provide students with access to practical tools, data templates and a dedicated software program which will allow students to gain an appreciation of business life at the coalface.
