Bard Summerscape Festival – Summer

Hudson Valley Hot Air Balloon Festival – June
Visitors travel from near and far to witness the astonishing balloon launches at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. This annual tradition has grown into a full weekend of activities, including 100 balloon launches, helicopter rides, hayrides, games, live music, adult and children's activities.
Wassaic Project Summer Festival – August

175th Annual Dutchess County Fair – August
Celebrating 175 years in 2020, the Dutchess County Fairgrounds hosts over half a million visitors. Hop on a train from New York City for a day trip, or plan a getaway. This all-American fair is a family fun event with live animals, specialty foods, fair rides and celebrity entertainment. A Dutchess County tradition not to be missed!
Hudson Valley Wine & Food Festival – September
Meet the leaders in craft beverage from all of New York State at this weekend long event highlighting local wineries, distilleries, breweries, gourmet food vendors and food trucks. It showcases live entertainment, shopping and tasting – an experience you can't get anywhere else in the state.
