�The Mermaids� Song� - a 75minute treatment using plant and marine extracts - provides the ultimate in exfoliation and relaxation and is one of the new indulgence treatments available at Dunk Island�s Spa of Peace and Plenty.

The Spa is designed to revitalise body and spirit and offers a range of exclusive treatments for guests wanting to ease into the relaxation process on their holiday. Guests can enjoy massage, facials, hand and feet treatments or embrace the mystery of Indian Ayurveds, Reiki or Kahuna, all in an intimate environment, nurtured by professional and caring staff.

The Spa of Peace and Plenty offers treatments where the body is renewed with a crushed pearl peel before soaking in fragrant bath of flowers, Dead Sea salts and aromatic essential oils. The process is followed with the application of a cool tonal mist to seal in moisture and a soothing massage using an aloe finishing milk. �The Ancient Arts Awakener� is a 120minute treatment where the body�s energy centres, or Chakras, are gently stirred to promote a greater feeling of wellbeing. The process begins with feet being bathed and polished with sea salts, then soothed with a frankincense and myrrh massage. A Reiki treatment follows, bringing a sense of wholeness and new energy. The balancing treatment is completed with the mystical Shirodhara � an Ayurvedic ritual of pouring warmed sesame oil over the forehead on the Chakra known as the third eye.

The products used at the Spa of Peace and Plenty are exclusive to Dunk Island and all treatments are based on various forms of ancient and natural methods.

In addition to the Spa of Peace and Plenty, Dunk Island offers a range of activities designed to support wellness of body, mind and spirit. Guests can choose to explore the tropical rainforest and National Park that covers the Island, discover secluded beaches, visit the farm for a chat to the animals or the artist colony for inspiration. Many water sports are also available and there are other indulgences including quiet sunset horse rides along the beach or simply doing nothing at all.

5-night Dunk Island packages start from AUS$735 per person twin share including breakfast and dinner each day and many activities. Packages are valid until 31 March 2002 (GST included).

The Holidays with a Difference Spa of Peace and Plenty package is ideal for those looking for total relaxation and indulgence. Guests can spend 4-nights in a spacious beachfront Bayview Suite and surrender to a lavish pampering program designed to clear the last vestiges of stress and cleanse, balance and tone the body.

Two complete Spa programs are included in the package: option one �Peace� (recommended for �Her�) option two �Plenty� (recommended for Him). However, guests can swap treatments should they wish.
