Following the sizzling success of the 2013-2014 season of the live show Sin & Tonic, Dracula's latest production, Spiderlash promises to spin a seductive web of sizzling burlesque, graveyard rock, tummy-clutching comedy and masochist madness.

Expecting to launch to a packed Gold Coast audience on Tuesday 8 July the 2014-2015 show, Spiderlash, is the latest offering from Dracula's creative vault.

According to Draculas Director, Haydie Newman, the show will offer a fast past evening of vampire variety with a unique new spin.

Spiderlash will provide a complete night of entertainment with sexy new Vampire Vaudeville comparable to the dynamic entertainment seen at the famous Spigeltent travelling pavilion.”

“A complete departure from the typical bawdy theatre restaurant cliché, our new production will take the audience on a thrilling journey that combines a perplexing mix of side-alley circus, novelty comedy acts and graveyard psycobilly rock,” says Newman.

Presented in vaudeville style, Spiderlash will wind together a hypnotic web of twenty first century schlock-horror show biz. Featuring acts like the Antique Illusion of Gore, Aerial Chandelier, Satan's Checkout, Spiderweb Fetish and INXS rock tribute, the show will be set to a live rock soundtrack, and finish on a high with a spectacular aerial DJ set.

Regular visitors to Draculas will find Spiderlash appeals to their inner urge to sin, while virgins to the swanky vampire lair will be gob-smacked by the scale of professionalism of this Gold Coast institution.

The 2014-2015 production will see the return of cabaret all-rounders Richard Macionis, Rudi Testa, David Kume, Christine Ibrahim and Daniele Casson. New cast members include renowned cabaret performer Stevie Mac on Drums and international variety artist Nicole James.
