Double Whammy Season Passes On Sale Now

Lake Tahoe�s original dual mountain season pass is back, and from now through Sept. 30, 2004, skiers and riders can purchase their 2004/05 season pass for prices beginning at just $289.

For those who haven�t heard of the Double Whammy, it is the passport to ski/ride some of Tahoe�s finest terrain spread over 4,480 acres, 116 runs, 27 lifts, 10 freestyle terrain parks, 50 kilometers of cross country trails and snowshoeing terrain at both Sierra-at-Tahoe and Northstar-at-Tahoe.

The $278 Value Season Pass, the most popular Double Whammy product, allows purchasers to ski/ride any day, excluding blackout dates, at Sierra-at-Tahoe and Sunday through Friday, excluding blackout dates, at Northstar-at-Tahoe. Other pass products include an unlimited season pass valid any day, with no restrictions at both resorts, priced at $649 for adults. A limited season pass valid any day at Sierra and any day excluding blackout dates at Northstar, costs $449 for adults.

Also, the resorts have doubled the savings on the child season pass, making it easier than ever for families to enjoy a ski vacation. The limited pass, now priced at $79, allows children to ski/ride any day at Sierra and any day excluding blackout dates at Northstar. The child�s unlimited season pass valid any day of the season at both resorts is now priced at just $109.

Sierra/Northstar are enticing students to make the grade on the slopes this season with the College Double Whammy pass. Available for just $249, the pass allows students of all ages to ski/ride any day at Sierra and any day excluding blackout dates at Northstar. In order to qualify for this pass, students must be currently enrolled in a minimum of six credits.

Double Whammy passholders receive a number of perks including discounted lift tickets for friends and family, the chance to ski all Booth Creek resorts all day at the half day rate, discounted rates during blackout periods and loads of discounts on food and beverages, lessons, preferred parking and rental equipment at both mountains.

The blackout dates for 2004/05 are Nov. 26-27; Dec.27-Jan.1, Jan.15-16, and Feb.19-20.
