Dorchester Collection

The Dorchester and Coworth Park

Dorchester Collection’s iconic London hotel The Dorchester, and luxury country house hotel and spa in Ascot, Coworth Park, have launched the Winter Wonder experience for those who want to get party ready for the winter festive season. Available at the award winning Dorchester Spa and The Spa at Coworth Park, the indulgent experience includes a manicure, facial, and luxury gift from the spas to take away as a pre-festive treat. The pampering experience begins with a signature manicure, infused with age defying ingredients including vitamins A, B, and C. The manicure will cleanse, exfoliate, and hydrate, leaving hands and nails looking visibly smoother with restored strength.

A one hour soothing Aromatherapy Associates facial follows, and helps strengthen the skin’s defence system using the calming blend of two chamomile oils which will also smooth away the effects of daily stress. Two masks are then applied to the skin – a mud mask to re-mineralise the skin, followed by a repairing mask packed full of actives such as cotton thistle and liquorice which restore natural radiance. Skin will be left nourished and restored with a healthy glow. A relaxing scalp, neck, and shoulder massage completes the experience, helping to ensure that guests leave revived and relaxed, ready to take on their busy festive calendar. The Winter Wonder package is available until 24 December 2013 and is priced at £165 per person including VAT.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée

The Dior Institut at Hôtel Plaza Athénée will reopen in June 2014 along with the hotel, which has temporarily closed as it undergoes a partial restoration in order to integrate three additional buildings. Upon reopening, The Dior Institut will reintroduce its signature treatment, the “Dior Prestige Facial Ritual”. This luxurious treatment uses exclusive products, including Prestige Souveraine, and begins with a deep back massage and a gentle full make-up removal. This is followed by an application of Essence Initiale Dior Prestige, a careful exfoliation and a facial massage, smoothing and applying firm pressure from the contour of the ears to the neck and shoulders. A gentle eye contour treatment is also included. The ultimate step is the application of various products, depending on the skin’s requirements, including Dior Prestige Satin Revitalising Nectar and Creme or the Huile and Crème Souveraine. After 75 minutes of exceptional skincare and ultimate relaxation, the face is left more radiant, fresh and serene with the body rejuvenated. (75 minutes/€210)

Perfect for eco-conscious travellers looking for luxury, the facial is priced at $310.

Both Spas by La Prairie at Hotel Bel-Air and The Beverly Hills Hotel will offer the Diamond Perfection treatment in response to the Awards Season and the centennial promotion Suite 100, for which one of the suites at The Beverly Hills Hotel will be inspired by Marilyn Monroe.
