HF Holidays Family Walking Holidays over October half-term proved to be very popular, selling out completely, and are already gearing up to the next one in February to make sure families don't miss out.  Date are also available for Easter, May and Summer holiday.

Whether it's one child or three, parents or grandparents, partners or travelling alone with your offspring, these Family Adventures are for everyone! There are different grades of walks to choose from and lots of fun activities with experienced Activity Leaders, quality accommodation, all full board in selected HF country houses which are dedicated to families only for Family holiday breaks.

Choose from 4-night breaks walking in the Shropshire Hills or the Lake District. Up to four walks to choose from each walking day, adjusted to suit the season. There are lots of fun activities to take part in each evening in the relaxed surrounds of our country houses. Even better, under 18s travel absolutely free!

NEW NOW OFFERING TEEN WALKING WEEKENDS

Perfect for active families with hill walking experience, these breaks test your teens (and you), join us to bag Yorkshire's three peaks or climb the Lake District Giants (Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Scafell Pike), all in a weekend. Minimum age 12. Walks will take place in a family-only walking group but non-family guests may also be staying at the house.
