The stress of a holiday can often spell the end of a relationship. The East Winds resort in Saint Lucia believes that a holiday can actually bring couples together and with this in mind will host an Intimacymoon - a retreat designed to help couples deepen their intimacy and romantic connections – in July 2023.
The personalised retreat gives couples the opportunity to break through relationship barriers so that they reconnect with their partner, feel heard, seen and supported.
The retreat will be hosted by Marissa Nelson, an experienced therapist who has guided hundreds of couples to discover lasting connection while overcoming life's challenges.
The retreat is a personalised experience with couples having a pre-retreat private session with the therapist to discuss their goals. This is followed by 3 mornings of activities at East Winds, and 3 monthly post-retreat sessions to consolidate learnings from the retreat and to manage any challenges.
Couples will participate in small group learning as well as undertaking activities with their partner.
As well as the coaching, the retreat package includes:
- a vow renewal ceremony at sunset with a reception
- a group welcome dinner with Marissa Nelson
- a private sunset cruise
- a full day private excursion to the south to see the Pitons, Soufriere, swim in a waterfall and snorkel
- a private cooking class with the resort chef
- a chocolate making session
- learning to play steel drums
The Intimacymoon runs from 3-7 July and costs US$5500 per couple to include accommodation on an all-inclusive basis and private transfers. International flights are not included.
