Sicily's five-star Donnafugata Golf Resort & SPA will go head-to-head with the cream of the world's luxury destination resorts for golf and business after receiving a double nomination for the 2015 Prestigious Star Awards, which will be held in London later this year.

The deluxe venue in Ragusa, south-east Italy, is one of only three resorts to have been shortlisted in both the 'Most Prestigious Corporate Incentive Venue' and 'Most Prestigious Sporting Venue' categories.

Organised by Prestigious Venues, the Prestigious Star Awards celebrate the quality, performance and reputation of the world's best and most distinguished venues qualified to host the most memorable events.

Public voting is open until the end of July, with the 20 award winners set to be announced at a lavish prize-giving ceremony on September 18.
