Dominican Republic Tourist Board

The country's impressive annual golf calendar is more active than ever.  Organizers have already begun to announce the year's big golf tournaments, including the Dominican Republic Open, organized by the Dominican Federation of Golf.  This particular event is scheduled for May in the Cana Bay Golf Course, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana, in the country's easternmost region.  The 18-hole golf course was designed by golfing great Jack Nicklaus.

Dominican Republic Open 2013

The Dominican Republic Open tournament will be played from May 27 to June 2 at the Cana Bay Golf Course, at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana.  It is organized by the Dominican Federation of Golf, through an agreement with the PGA.  The Cana Bay Golf Course has 18 holes and was designed by golf legend Jack Nicklaus.

II International Tournament The Lakes

This tournament is scheduled for June 21 at the Barcelo The Lakes Golf Course, at the Hotel Barceló Bávaro Palace Deluxe in Punta Cana.  The 18-hole golf course was designed by the famous PB Dye.

Casa de Campo Cuban Invitational 2013

This Invitational will take place at the internationally famous “Teeth of the Dog”, golf course, in Casa de Campo, on August 1. The course was designed by the legendary Pete Dye and rated by Golf Magazine as the number one golf course in the Caribbean and number 43 in the top 100 courses in the world.
