During July Doma Hotels celebrated French Month with its conclusion seeing the giveaway of a holiday to Hamilton Island and a Trek Bicycle.

For a chance to win one of the coveted prizes customers purchased a bottle or glass of Piper-Heidsieck Champagne or Furphy refreshing ale from Ostani Bar and Restaurant at Hotel Realm.

The first prize included three nights’ accommodation at the Reef View Hotel, breakfast daily, a dining experience at Bommie restaurant valued at $250, airport to Reef Hotel transfers, unlimited access to the island shuttle service and a $500 Flight Centre voucher.

There were over 1000 entries to the competition with Rob walking away with the top prize. “Best beer I’ve ever had” Rob said.

Colin was the winner of the second prize, a Trek road bike valued at $3000.

French month at Doma Hotels also featured Buvette Wine Bar and Bistro’s Bastille Day Dinner. The dinner showcased four courses from Doma’s French Executive Chef, Fabien Wagnon.

The menu featured dishes including, pressed duck confit, double-baked comté cheese and truffle soufflé, chocolate fondant with quince and yoghurt sorbet and crowd favourite braised beef bourguignon.

French Month leads into Doma Hotels Winter Escape Package where participants go into the draw to win two nights’ accommodation for two at Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa, full breakfast each morning, two days ski or snowboard hire from Harro’s Snowsports, two x 1-hour massage at The SPA, $300 food and beverage credit for your stay plus a $500 gift voucher from straight line ski and scuba.
