The 2017 Australian Hotels Association ACT Awards for Excellence applaud outstanding achievement in the hotel industry.

Canberra’s leading licensed venues, accommodation hotels and outstanding employees have been commended at the Australian Hotels Association (AHA) 2017 ACT Awards for Excellence at the QT Canberra on Monday evening.

Canberra’s hotel industry leaders, hoteliers, special guests and Parliamentarians attended the annual Awards event to celebrate all aspects of Canberra’s vibrant hotel and hospitality sector.

Doma Hotels took out several top awards, winning across multiple categories:

Little National Hotel, Best Marketed Hotel

Buvette Bistro & Wine Bar at Hotel Realm, Best Wine List

Hotel Realm, Best Meetings and Event Hotel

Little National Hotel, Best Environmental Initiative

Brassey Hotel, Best Mid-Range Accommodation

Little National Hotel, Best First Class Accommodation

Burbury Hotel & Apartments, Best Superior Accommodation

Hotel Realm, Best Deluxe Accommodation  

Doma Hotels Director of Hotels, Patrick Lonergan said the prestigious Awards hailed hotels and restaurants that demonstrated outstanding services, accommodation, entertainment, food and beverage.

“We are overwhelmed and delighted with the recognition of achievement by the AHA. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our hotels and restaurants,” Mr Lonergan said.
