Dive in With GVI in Mexico

Global Vision International

Global Vision International (GVI), one of the worlds most exciting and progressive volunteering organizations, has launched three new scuba diving courses in the breathtaking surroundings of Cozumel Island, Mexico. The selection of 3 - 12 week courses caters for people with little or no diving experience right through to those looking to become a diving instructor.

GVIs professional diving courses follow the PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) structure, ensuring that all divers earn globally recognized qualifications. In addition to the many dives on offer, there will also be the opportunity to learn about the importance of the underwater environment by attending classes with experienced marine scientists. The threat to the coral reef and the identification of underwater creatures are just a couple of the fascinating topics covered.

The dive training on this expedition occurs on the tropical Caribbean island of Cozumel, Mexicos largest island. Cozumel Island is one of the most beautiful scuba diving areas in the world, not only can you see giant green moray eels on the coral reef , but divers can enjoy 30 60 metre visibility, in near perfect conditions.

Andy Woods-Ballard from Global Vision International, comments: Not only is this trip great fun, but people will also be taught how to dive responsibly. We teach and promote sustainable diving so that these beautiful underwater landscapes can still be enjoyed in years to come, something that really differentiates GVIs courses from others on the market.

When the stunning turquoise waters become tiring, there will be plenty of opportunity to experience the Mexican culture. Biweekly excursions to the Sian Kan Biosphere Reserve and ancient Mayan ruins including, Itza, Coba and Tulum included in the cost of the trip are just some of the exciting trips included.

Andy continues: The flexibility of the courses offered at the GVI dive school ensure that people can progress at their own rate, so whether theyre diving for the first time or they want to become a diving instructor, GVI will help them to reach their goals in some of the most beautiful waters in the world.

GVIs courses are certain to prove popular with anyone interested in the underwater world. For further information, and to book a place on this project, please visit www.gviusa.com.
