The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel proudly presents South African Chef Allistaire Lawrence, who will be sharing his culinary essence and philosophy to the hotel guests and locals during April 10th – 16th, 2015. 

About Guest Chef Allistaire Lawrence:

Starting his career in 2002, it wasn't before long he was working in some of the top restaurants is his home country proving that he is a force to be reckoned with in the culinary world. He has worked in many hotels and restaurants, including the award-winning Roots Restaurant where he led the kitchen and guided his team to the Eat Out Top 10. He had also won the title “Young Chef of the Year” by Chaine des Rotsseurs. and since been working as an Executive Chef at 5 star Hotel in Cape Town. Partnering up with the famous Bertus Basson, he plans to open a new restaurant that will focus on Authentic South African country food. For a brief period of April 10th – 16th, he will be sharing his gastronomic skills at The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman hotel, with mouth watering dishes such as “Farmer's Salad” , “Lobster Ceviche”, “Spiced Venison Loin” and more!

Guest Chef will be bringing his expertise in food and wine, and along with “Wine Of South Africa” , will be hosting a number of promotion and events at The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel, including “Wine Buffet” at George & Co. which will feature over 10 South African wines. There will also be the “South Africa Discovery Festival” where guest can enjoy up to 180 wines and authentic food from the land as well as win a return ticket to Cape Town. On the 11th April, 2015, The Park Lane Hong Kong is proud to present the South Afirca Discovery Festival at the 28/F Roof Top Garden overlooking the Victoria Harbour view. The event will feature free tasting of over 180 South African wines from South African grapes variety or international favourite, and authentic South African food such as boerewors and biltongs.
