Helpful Holidays, the West Country self-catering specialist, has produced its second free, 84-page customer magazine for holidaymakers staying in Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset. Discover gives an insight into how to make the most of the region and what it offers, while relaxing and enjoying a cottage stay.

Pages are dedicated to the West Country's many historic castles waiting to be explored, spectacular walks along the South West Coast Path and a shopping guide to Dunster and Topsham as well as special regions and events for days out. Other sections are food focused highlighting a Cornish farm offering home grown and reared produce, suggestions for cosy pubs to while away an hour or three and tasty food festivals to enjoy. 

New for this second issue are personal interviews with local businesses, a holiday home owner and two members of the Helpful Holidays team who reveal their favourite havens for relaxing in the South West. A highlight is a chat with renowned children's author Michael Morpurgo about his new book Listen to the Moon; he has lived in Devon for many years and found inspiration there for his numerous stories.

Throughout the magazine, there are suggestions for holiday homes near the highlighted destinations as well as those that welcome pets, are eco-friendly, have swimming pools and are particularly large for family gatherings or friends planning a getaway together.
