These areas are popular with the locals but little known outside Italy.

Secret Sardinia is an exploration from north to south through the very heart of this fascinating island, taking in the local cork and ceramic works, exploring medieval Castelsardo and a visit to Nuraghe Santu Antine, one of the Island's largest Nuragic sites.
Travelsphere's Secret Lakes of Italy is an eight-day escorted holiday with prices starting from £899 per person. Secret Sardinia has prices starting at £1,049 and Secret Sicily starts at £959. Both Secret Sicily and Secret Sardinia are also eight-day escorted tours.
