Discover Los Angeles has teamed up with Air New Zealand, leading DMC – Insider Experience and Intercontinental Century City Host Hotel to host seven Australian and New Zealand business event planners on a once-in-a-lifetime GRAMMY Music experience in the 'City of Angels'.
The group's VIP treatment began on arrival at LAX, the most convenient and popular gateway to North America, where they were greeted by Wilshire Limousine Services. The special guests from HOT Events (NZ), EWM DCIM, Platinum Travel, Corporate Blue, The Incentive Lab and Destination Group of Companies were then transported to their iconic L.A. hotel, Intercontinental Century City, located just moments away from L.A.'s major film studios and world-class shopping on Rodeo Drive.
To celebrate the 59th Annual GRAMMY Awards ceremony, the Managers were treated like stars, starting with a salon appointment at their hotel to get “show-ready”. Sporting their best black tie attire, the evening commenced with a pre-show dinner at the renowned fusion cuisine restaurant, Katsuya, famous for its loyal following of Hollywood A-listers, followed by the Awards ceremony. Afterwards, the group enjoyed a late dinner at the glamourous American dining experience, Craigs.
Throughout their stay in L.A, the VIP guests enjoyed a range of VIP premium experiences, including exquisite meals at world-class restaurants such as, SLS Hotel, The London Penthouse, Republique, Gjelina, Beverly Wilshire, EP/LP, The Ivy and Montage Beverly Hills. They also took on new heights during their site visits to the Hills Penthouse West Hollywood and Devoe House (former home of Marilyn Munroe) both of which have breath-taking, 360-degree views of the city. Hitting the ground, the guests experienced the ultimate up-close and personal L.A. adventure with Bikes and Hikes L.A. tours, as well as exploring Hollywood's longest operating and only remaining major studio, Paramount Pictures.
