Media spaces available
The Old Swan & Minster Mill in the heart of the Cotswolds is running its first Detox Yoga Weekend from 14th-17th January- the perfect way to kick some health into the New Year. Nestled at the heart of the village of Old Minster, the hotel is perfectly tucked away for some much needed and undisturbed health and relaxation in January.
There are a number of places available for media to review the Detox Yoga Weekend. Please contact desavary@brightergroup.com if you are interested in a place.
The weekend will be run by Sarah Tucker, the bestselling author of The A to Zen of Yoga and travel and lifestyle broadcaster and journalist. The yoga practises will focus on vinyasa yoga, ideal for beginners and intermediates.
The morning session will be more intense, concentrating on detox and postures which nurture the heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and intestines -in short, all those organs which become sluggish after over indulgence. Immediately after lunch, there will be an invigorating two hour hike followed by an afternoon yoga session. This will put emphasis on restorative postures to encourage sleep and focus on emotional issues, all rooted in the yoga philosophy of strengthening the breath and nurturing meditation techniques.
The food over the weekend will be based around core superfoods with dishes including spelt risotto, poached organic salmon, polenta with steamed vegetables and avocado mousse.
The weekend starts from £375 per person based on two sharing including accommodation, meals and yoga. For single occupancy prices start from £525 per person. There will be similar weekends throughout the year at the hotel.
