To celebrate 2016 Good Food and Wine Show, PARKROYAL Parramatta is holding an intimate gourmet event with celebrity chef hosts Miguel Maestre and Alastair McLeod on Thursday 4th August at 6:30pm. Guests will enjoy an indulgent four-course 80s' inspired menu created by the chefs at the hotel's TABLE:30 restaurant, whilst Miguel and Alastair share their expert tips and anecdotes.

Kick-start the evening with an amuse-bouche of tomato and mushroom consommé with Pacific Oysters. Then cruise along this unique food adventure with the rabbit terrine with prune chutney, carrot jelly, cornichons and toasted brioche or a salmon roulade with quail egg, lobster tails, lime chili jam and watercress aioli. Sink your teeth into the herb crusted roast beef with Yorkshire Pudding, duck fat kipflers, garlic Brussels sprouts and port wine jus or coq au vin with olive oil mash, spinach and sweet potato crisp. To finish, treat yourself to the trifle with berries, strawberry jelly, white and milk chocolate mousse and violet crumble cream.

All four courses will be matched with exquisite Angove wines for only $99 per person, and guests will also receive free entry to the Good Food and Wine Show. 

Having worked in various kitchens around the world, talented Spaniard Miguel Maestre is the author of two best-selling Spanish cookbooks and a regular on TV shows such as TEN's The Living Room, Boys Weekend, and Miguel's Feasts. His co-host Ireland born chef Alastair McLeod also holds a wealth of experience including Michelin-listed, high profile and fine dining restaurants across the world. Alastair is an ardent supporter of all things local, believing the closer you are to the source of your food the better it will taste and the smaller the carbon footprint you will create.
