Dig This® Earns 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

Dig This

Dig This®, America's first heavy equipment playground, has received its third TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award.  The accolade, which honors hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide.  Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.

Dig This also received TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence award in 2012 and 2013.  Dig This was additionally honored by TripAdvisor in 2013 receiving a Travelers' Choice® award for attractions as one of the top 25 amusement parks in the United States.

When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account reviews ratings.  Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, volume and recency of reviews.  Additional criteria include a business' tenure and popularity ranking on the site.  Dig This is currently ranked number two of 571 attractions in Las Vegas on TripAdvisor.

“We are thrilled to receive TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence three years in a row,” said Ed Mumm, Dig This' Owner and Founder.  "Winning this award is a true source of pride for the entire team at Dig This.  We are dedicated to providing customers with the best experience available, and this award is a testament that our hard work is translating into positive reviews on TripAdvisor."

Dig This opened in May 2011 at 3012 S. Rancho Drive, bringing the latest in recreational and corporate entertainment to the Las Vegas market allowing non-industry folks the chance to experience the adrenaline rush of playing with massive, full-size hydraulic excavators and bulldozers.

Dig This is open daily year-round, providing Big Dig, Mega Dig and Group Dig activities.  All sessions start with an equipment and safety orientation before participants get behind the controls in climate-controlled, wireless radio equipped cabs and maneuver equipment in individual work areas.  Participants must be at least 14 years of age.  Pricing begins at $249.00 for Big Dig sessions.  Dig This is conveniently located just minutes from The Strip.

About Dig This®, LLC:

Dig This®, America's first heavy equipment playground, was founded by New Zealander Ed Mumm in Steamboat Springs, Colorado in 2007. Dig This' inspiration came to Ed while he was operating heavy equipment to construct his home in Steamboat Springs. After having fun clearing trees and scrub oak, constructing a road, building a pond and digging foundations he realized the potential for a business opportunity and the concept for Dig This was formed. Ed pioneered the “super-sized sandbox” concept providing the opportunity for the general public to command the controls of heavy equipment in a safe, fun and supervised environment.  Dig This launched operations in Las Vegas, Nevada, in May 2011, bringing the latest in recreational and corporate entertainment by allowing non-industry folks the chance to experience the thrill and rush of playing with massive hydraulic excavators and bulldozers. Structured courses, including corporate and custom programming guarantee 20 tons of fun. Dig This is a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award Winner 2012-2014 and a 2013 TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award winner. www.digthisvegas.com.  Dig This, LLC and Dig This Las Vegas are not affiliated with or sponsored, approved, or endorsed by Caterpillar in any way.
