Additions include steak and crab choices and a range of new pastries
(Macao, May 20, 2015) C Theaward-winning Copa Steakhouse and patisserie SweetSpot at Sands® Macao are launching a new range of tempting dishes and baked delights to ensure diners have an array of delectable options when it comes to eating in Macao.
“As one of the best steakhouses in Macao and Hong Kong, we always have to keep our menu fresh and innovative while maintaining the high standards that have won us so many accolades,” said Luis Silva, Chef de Cuisine, Copa Steakhouse. “With the latest additions to the menu, guests can look forward to a decadent appetiser, a new cut of steak they may not have had before, a seafood treat and indulgent desserts.”
The newly launched menu items at Copa Steakhouse give guests an ever-changing selection of the best produce available in the region that is cooked by experts to deliver a dining experience that is hard to match. New additions to the Copa Steakhouse menu are:
- Seared Foie Gras with Toasted Brioche, Blackberry Jam and Marcona Almonds: A portion of pan-seared foie gras is served on a piece of toasted brioche with homemade blackberry jam and toasted marcona almonds.
- 20 oz USDA Prime Tomahawk Steak: The tomahawk has the largest amount of intramuscular fat of any steak which makes it the most flavourful steak. If you like a good chop steak, you're going to love the tomahawk bone-in rib-eye.
- Roasted or Steamed Giant Crab: Giant crab is either steamed or roasted and served with beurre blanc and thousand island sauce.
- Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Crème Anglaise and Ice Cream: One for caramel lovers, this dessert is made up of a delicious sticky toffee date pudding that is served with vanilla crème anglaise and ice cream.
Macao's original traditional-style American steak house, Copa Steakhouse is one of Hong Kong Tatler magazine's Best Restaurants 2015. The restaurant also received the Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator Magazine in 2014 and the Best Western F&B award in the prestigious 2014 Hurun Presidential Awards.
Soft lighting from vintage chandeliers, warm tones and pleasing textural contrasts make Copa a welcoming place to visit with friends and colleagues.
