DEEPSPOT

Deepspot
DEEPSPOT is a project of the most modern and deepest pool in the world.  Not only for diving.  The pool is 45.47 meters deep.  At the depth of 20 meters, there are 5-story caves.  There is a tunnel-like in the africaria and, at the level of 5 meters underwater, there are hotel rooms with a view at the divers.  Among other attractions, there is a shipwreck and a tube running from the depth of 20 m down to 45 m.  The size of the water surface at the top is 20 x 25 m.  The capacity of the whole pool is 8000 mᶟ, as much as 27 Olympic swimming pools.  The Larsen walls (resistance proof) will hold the pressure of 50 tons.  A special system of water filtration of the output 80 times higher than in a traditional pool is being developed.  Thanks to this system the water filtration will be done 4 times only every 24 hours.

Behind this project is an enthusiasm and completely Polish investment capital of Michal Braszczynski, a passionate diver.  He has already built the Flyspots (aerodynamic tunnels) in Warszawa, Katowice, and Wroclaw.  Interesting story from the business point of view.  From the sport point of view: here is a place to be used by the free divers for training.  Poles, like Agnieszka Kalska and Magdalena Solich, are world masters in this discipline.

Of course, the highly expected patrons are scuba divers.  Their estimated number in Poland is 200 thousand.  However, the most important in this undertaking is the so-called “first-timers”, that is those who are eager to give it a try.  So we are expecting the debutants in the underwater world as well as those who are going to continue their passion.
