Boarders who simply want to access Australia's best Half Pipe (as voted by boardtheworld.com) can now purchase the new Pass for only $50.00, a saving of a whopping $27.00 on a regular day pass.

Perisher Blue is committed to providing the very best snowboarding experience, The Half Pipe has been designed by US experts and the Snow Turbo Grinder shaping tool manicures the walls to perfection. This specialist piece of equipment ensures the walls are cut and groomed consistently all winter long.

In season 2002, commencing in August, a second Pipe will run parallel to the main Pipe on Front Valley for beginners & intermediates. This innovation allows those riders just starting out to improve their skills, without feeling intimidated by the main Pipe.

Australia's best Half Pipe just got better this year with the inclusion of the "Big Air Stick". Riders can now measure how high they really can go, with the Big Air Stick measuring from the top of the lip to six metres vertical.

Many bets will be won and lost this year between boarders and freeride skiers with the Big Air Stick having the final say on who can bust the biggest moves!

Snowmaking starts in just two weeks and the Half Pipe takes priority. Each Pipe requires approximately 3,000 tonnes of snow.
