Following the financial failure of cruise specialist retailer Cruise Control (UK) Ltd (ABTA no.J3487), ABTA has put together a list of dedicated helpline telephone numbers for customers.
All passengers currently on cruises will not be affected and will be able to continue with their holiday. Customers who have made a booking with Cruise Control and are yet to travel should be able to go on their holidays and cruises as planned.
In the first instance, customers who have booked through Cruise Control and yet to travel should contact the cruise line or tour operator with whom they are travelling. The following cruise lines have set up dedicated helplines.

Notes for editors: ABTA is the largest travel trade association in the UK and its Members are responsible for the sale of over 90% of overseas package holidays and a significant proportion of independent travel elements bought in the UK. Travel companies have to prove that they are financially stable and provide a bond before they are let into ABTA membership. ABTA can then use this bond if a Member fails financially to pay for consumers to either continue their holiday, to rescue them if they are stranded, or to refund them. ABTA has paid 31.4 million worth of claims over the last ten years to consumers. ABTA Members are also required to follow a strict code of conduct, approved by the Office of Fair Trading, to ensure the highest standards of customer service. If a member of the public has a dispute they cannot resolve with an ABTA Member, ABTA provides a low cost, independent arbitration service administered by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Further information can be found on www.abta.com
