THORPE PARK, has announced details of its first ever Halloween overnight scare attraction. Themed around the cult film The Blair Witch Project the experience forms part of the Park’s Fright Nights 2013 movie takeover line-up with Lionsgate UK.
Only for the bravest Fright Nights fans, the Park is offering an exclusive overnight trek into the darkness of The Blair Witch Project Scare Zone. Face the dead of night in the shadows of the rollercoasters and experience the eerie silence of a locked up theme park as THORPE PARK opens up some of its long forgotten pathways for an exclusive fully immersive horror experience.
Inspired by the iconic Lionsgate movie, the terrifying, immersive outdoor experience will take place in an undisclosed area of the Park. Small groups of guests will stay over in The Crash Pad, The Park’s new onsite accommodation, but that’s where the comfort stops as the horror experience takes over.
Guests will also be able to experience the full horror movie takeover at THORPE PARK which includes live-action mazes based on some of the world’s most iconic horror films (The Blair Witch Project, The Cabin in The Woods, Saw, You’re Next and My Bloody Valentine) and the chance to ride exhilarating rollercoasters in the dark.
The Blair Witch Project Overnight Experience will run on selected dates from Friday 11 October to Saturday 2 November 2013. Pre-booking is essential as spaces are strictly limited. Prices, based on two people sharing, cost from £250 including overnight stay, two day Park tickets and breakfast.
