Day And Night At The Roof Terrace

Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa

Located on the seventh floor of Bordeaux's Palace hotel, the spectacular wrap-around roof terrace at Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa offers exceptional 360° far-reaching views across Bordeaux and the Garonne River. This Summer, the hotel will launch an outdoor Bassin d'Arcachon-inspired spa treatment area on the roof terrace during the day, which will be transformed in the evening to become the 'Night Beach' bar.

DAYTIME AT THE ROOF TERRACE AT GRAND HOTEL DE BORDEAUX & SPA

For a moment of prolonged relaxation, guests can step out from the hotel's NUXE Spa Les Bains de Léa on to the panoramic Jacuzzi-terrace from which they can soak up the sun's rays.

This Summer, Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa will unveil a year-round outdoor spa treatment area. Inspired by the nearby Bassin d'Arcachon (in English, Arcachon Bay), part of the roof terrace will be transformed to re-create this stunning natural landscape in the heart of the city with pine trees and sand dunes, as well as white curtains to create an additional level of privacy.

Accomplished Spa Manager David Lestelle has created a range of spa treatments especially for this outdoor space. These will include a NUXE Prodigious Oil massage on the sand, using smooth methodical strokes to transport guests to the Bassin d'Arcachon - an oasis of calm overlooking the rooftops of Bordeaux.

The Bassin d'Arcachon Spa package starts from €453 (approx. £387), including a private spa treatment with one night in a deluxe room and daily breakfast.

NIGHT BEACH AT THE ROOF TERRACE AT GRAND HOTEL DE BORDEAUX & SPA

Taking advantage of its stunning roof terrace and warm climate, Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux & Spa will debut its 'Night Beach' bar at a launch party on 30 May 2013. This will be followed by a series of themed evenings throughout the 'Night Beach' season. The roof terrace bar will be open from 7pm to 1am, with a DJ playing upbeat live lounge music, signature cocktails and a wide selection of tapas created by Executive Chef Pascal Nibaudeau to reflect the ambiance.

For those wanting to unwind in a stylish and relaxed setting, this will provide the ideal environment for hotel guests and Bordeaux's most chic clientele to enjoy cocktails and watch the sun set across the city.
