Dance Students Jump at the Opportunity for a Photo With Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber's highly anticipated wax figure made a stirring appearance outside ANZ Stadium, courtesy of Madame Tussauds Sydney, to greet local hip-hop talent ahead of his final Purpose World Tour show.

Set against the backdrop of ANZ Stadium – where the real Justin Bieber's Sydney leg of his Purpose World Tour will entertain 70,000 hysterical Beliebers tonight – hip-hop talent from local dance school, Kinetic Dance Force showed off their favourite Bieber dance moves alongside the lifelike wax figure.

The 10 pint-sized performers from the dance school jumped at the 'One Time' opportunity to perform for the brand new wax figure of the international pop icon, making their dreams of taking to the stage that one step closer to reality.

Performing signature moves including Justin Bieber's infamous 'Air Jump', the performers weren't in 'Cold Water' for the performance, showing off meticulously choreographed moves, including a few original hip-hop steps, taught to them by instructor Sophia Franzini.

Justin Bieber fan, Olivia, aged 11, said they couldn't believe their eyes when the wax figure of Justin Bieber was standing in front of them, expressing how amazing it was to be up close and personal to Justin Bieber's wax body double.

“It is breathtaking how much the wax figure looks like Justin Bieber that I was struggling to take my eyes off him. I was star struck! It would be a dream come true if one day I get the chance to dance side-by-side with Justin, but for now I'm happy that I got to see the next best version of him”.

Madame Tussauds Sydney General Manager, Mark Connolly, said given the hype around the real Justin Bieber's Sydney concert, it was only fitting his wax figure would show up at ANZ Stadium to help give Justin some pre-performance good luck.

“Justin Bieber's restyled wax figure is the newest wax addition to the Madame Tussauds Sydney family and we thought to give the real Justin Bieber some good luck before his concert tomorrow, wax Justin could scope out the area beforehand,” said Mr Connolly.

“We think wax Justin had a great time at ANZ with an impromptu performance from Kinetic Dance Force, but he has now gone back on display at Madame Tussauds Sydney, to give the real Justin Bieber enough space to prepare for his mammoth concert.”

Currently on display in the Darling Harbour attractions 'A-List Zone, Justin Bieber's wax figure models a shirtless Biebs with washboard abs and trademark tattoos – all which took a team of expert Madame Tussauds artists and sculptors more than four months to perfectly recreate.

The carefully restyled figure also features Justin Bieber's signature drop-crotch shorts, white sneakers and bandana, adding to a look adored by the 70,000 fans expected to appear at tonight's Sydney show.

Known for musical chart toppers including 'Baby' and 'Cold Water', Justin Bieber's wax figure will go on display alongside the younger, original wax version of the international pop sensation, as he keeps 'Company' with the famous wax faces of some of the world's biggest stars.

Beliebers only have a limited time to snap a selfie with, hug or even steal a kiss from Justin Bieber's wax figure before he jets off to another Madame Tussauds location around the globe.

From posing with international celebrities to taking the ultimate selfie with Australian icons, Madame Tussauds Sydney is open daily from 9.30am and promises interactive fun for the whole family in the heart of Sydney's CBD in Darling Harbour.
