Lafayette Travel is seeking travel writers that are also cycling enthusiasts to cover Cycle Zydeco, a unique cycling event held throughout Acadiana. The desirable travel writer has previous cycling experience, lives in or around the South, and is willing to drive to Louisiana. Photography and video experience are preferred.

We are looking for a few things coverage-wise. First is an overall story on the Cycle Zydeco event touching on its uniqueness and desirability during COVID with it taking place outdoors. Each city and parish you'll be passing through has a rich history you'll experience along the backroads and byways. We would like to have a little written about each leg of the tour with some memorable takeaways from each place as well as the food, drinks, and people you encounter along the way.

Since parts of the event occur outside Lafayette Parish, we'd like to arrange a stay in the area before or after the trip. We will provide a suggested itinerary based on what's happening and some more topics to cover during the visit.
