CTC Consolidates Its Services for Domestic and International Media

Canadian Tourism Commission

Fresh from merging its consumer websites, the Canadian Tourism Commission (CTC) has now fused its Media Centre into its main corporate website.

The revamped Media Centre houses a range of content (Story Ideas, CTC News and News Releases) to appeal to both domestic and international media, travel-trade media and bloggers on the lookout for fresh angles.

We've beefed up the range of media-specific resources and also added a CTC media contacts page to help media get in touch with the right CTC rep. Housing the Media Centre on the corporate website also means that media have easier and more intuitive access to CTC's Research materials. Plus there's clear signposting to CTC's ever-growing, free-to-use and rights-ready images in our Brand Canada Library.

“The new one-stop Media Centre is the place to go for domestic and international media, making it an efficient change for both users and the CTC,” says Paul Nursey, CTC vice-president Strategy & Corporate Communications. “Through one consolidated site, media now have quick access to resources and information to help inspire Canadian travel stories.”
