Louise Goldsbury, Senior Editor of Cruise Critic Australia, wins coveted award for the second time

28 July 2015 – Sydney, Australia – Cruise Critic Australia's Senior Editor, Louise Goldsbury, has been named Australia's 'Best Travel Writer' at the 2015 National Travel Industry Awards (NTIA), presented by the Australian Federation of Travel Agents (AFTA).

According to AFTA, the “Best Travel Writer” award “recognises the work of a travel writer that best supports the travel agent community and the objectives of AFTA … the winner will be an individual who has demonstrated a consistently high standard of contributions to travel and tourism media.”

This is the second time Goldsbury has received the prestigious award -- she also won the title in 2013.

“It's such an honour to receive this award from AFTA's esteemed panel of judges, and to have been named a finalist alongside such a respected group of Australian travel journalists,” explained Goldsbury. “Having the opportunity to travel the world and share my experiences with readers across the globe – to hopefully inspire others to plan their own explorations – is truly a dream come true.”

Goldsbury joined Cruise Critic in October 2014, helping to launch the company's first Australian-focused cruise site. Cruise Critic Australia offers pricing, deals, tips and reviews specifically catered to Australian travellers. Each month, more than 200,000 Australians use Cruise Critic to plan their cruise holidays.
