Crowne Plaza Changi Airport Named World's Best Airport Hotel at the 2015 Skytrax World Airport Awards

Crowne Plaza Changi Airport has been named World's Best Airport Hotel and Best Airport Hotel in Asia at the 2015 Skytrax World Airport Awards at the Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, France. This is a milestone in the young history of the hotel that is set to increase its room inventory by an additional 243 rooms next year.

The World Airport Awards has its beginnings in 1999 with the launch of the very first global airport customer satisfaction survey by Skytrax. The Skytrax World Airport Awards is recognized as a global benchmark of excellence in the travel industry and the results are determined completely by the votes of travellers over a 9-month survey.

The 2015 World's Best Airport Hotel Award is based on nominations by 1.56 million airport hotel guests worldwide, spanning 65 nationalities. It evaluates 12 key performance indicators of the guest experience, including but not limited to hotel service staff standards, cleanliness and comfort of rooms and accessibility between terminal and hotel.

The 320-room Crowne Plaza Changi Airport is the first international brand hotel to open in the immediate vicinity of the world-class Changi Airport. It offers unparalleled convenience and accessibility with a fully-covered, air-conditioned linkbridge seamlessly connected to Changi Airport Terminal 3. Access to Terminal 1 is also available with the airport's Skytrain service. With the addition of a new wing, the hotel will feature a total of 563 rooms starting 2016.
