Diane Losa has been appointed Crown Conference Centre Manager for the Crown Promenade Hotel. Diane will work to procure, manage and stage major events for this purpose built facility designed to cater for conferences for up to 750 delegates.

In a career spanning over 15 years, Diane has a strong background in the Hospitality Industry and Event Management having worked for Sheraton Mirage Gold Coast, the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre and Crown Entertainment Complex.

The Crown Promenade Hotel is scheduled to open in early December 2003 and Crown Human Resources is inviting ENTHUSIASTIC INDIVIDUALS WITH PROVEN CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTATION AND HOTEL EXPERIENCE to consider exciting employment opportunities available at Melbourne�s newest hotel.

A variety of positions are available across all departments including Sales and Conferences, Housekeeping, Front Office, Reservations, Bell Desk, Business Centre, Laundry, Food and Beverage and Leisure Centre.

The opening of the Crown Promenade Hotel alongside the existing opulent Crown Towers Hotel, will make Crown Limited the largest Australian operator of hotel rooms in the competitive Melbourne hotel market with a combined inventory of more than 900 rooms and the largest range of accommodation.

The Crown Promenade Hotel will incorporate 465-rooms, including 18 studios and 3 suites that celebrate a relaxed and affordable style and its contemporary design will help create a friendly yet efficient service experience for the customer, setting it apart from its competitors.

Building on Melbourne�s reputation for great restaurants and bars, the hotel will include the 286-seat MESH restaurant with its Cosmopolitan and TONIC bar with seating for 80 guests.

With relaxation in mind, guests can enjoy the use of a fully equipped leisure centre. The Deck will incorporate Club Lounge, two outdoor terraces, 25-metre pool with sweeping views of the Melbourne city skyline, spa, gymnasium, steam and sauna facilities.
