New York, New York – 13 September 2018 – The Croatian National Tourist Board (CNTB) announces the last call to take part in the fourth edition of it's very popular contest, Epic Week, a social media competition that offers participants the chance to live out their very own dream week in Croatia.

The contest gives followers a chance to create their own perfect holiday by selecting 7 out of 218 experiences, share their ultimate bucket lists on social media, and encourage their friends and followers to vote for their itinerary. The 10 contestants with the highest number of likes will qualify for the finals, where they will have to convince the CNTB why their trip is the best and why they deserve a trip to Croatia to experience the activities they selected for their dream holiday.

In addition, the winner will also have an extra day, which will be created by the CNTB to visit the hometown of one of the Croatian national football players. Voting begins on 12th of September and will last until the 28th.

Early autumn in Croatia can offer a variety of unique activities such as wine marathons and grape or olive harvests. The best places to experience this is in the olive groves of Lun on the island of Pag which has an incredible 80,000 olive trees and home to one of the oldest olive trees on earth. Freshly baked bread with green olive oil and salted matured fruits will open the flavour of the first wine of the year. One more reason to experience the Epic Week in this season is the absence of a large number of tourists. The winner can enjoy the empty beaches and lagoons of Krk, beautiful rides along empty roads on a racing bike, the sublime beauty of ancient Dubrovnik and Split in tranquillity and the opportunity to try amazing Croatian seasonal cuisine like tangerines, grapes and chestnuts.

Croatia is full of life and bursting with opportunities for your autumn holiday: Try the salted olives with the first vine, dine on freshly-caught seafood, experience Croatia without the crowds, enjoy the mild climate of the season with a perfect sea temperature and have any kind of adventure from climbing to diving.
