Located at the edge of the spectacular Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park, guests can take to the wilderness trails by foot to discover the spectacular beauty of this World Heritage Listed region, ride across the plains on horseback or four wheel bikes and enjoy a range of outdoor activities. Four-wheel drive tours; mountain biking and wildlife spotting tours are just some of the other options.
Around Cradle Mountain Lodge there are 20 walking trails that lead through precious World Heritage Listed wilderness areas where towering trees, rugged mountain peaks and mirror-like lakes are some of the attractions. Guests can spend eight-hours or more trekking across the mountain ranges, but even on the short stroll from their private timber cabins to the main Lodge Possums, Pademelons, Wombats, Wallabies, Quolls and Tasmanian Devils are among the many species of wildlife to be seen.
For those that want to relax and soak up the atmosphere of an easier pace of life, there are wine and cheese tastings; cosy fires - ideal for reading or snoozing by - and saunas and massages to be enjoyed.
