Best-selling outdoor magazine, Country Walking, will be joining HF Holidays, the UK's largest walking and activity holiday provider, for a walking weekend in the heart of the lakes.
On October 3 2014 members of the Country Walking editorial team will join guests on iconic walks in the Lake District.
There will be a choice of 6 guided walks suitable for all abilities from gentle low-level rambles to epic high-level ridge walks including multiple Wainwrights. Guests will take in the mighty Old Man of Coniston, Coppermines Valley, Tom Heights and Tarn Hows.
Based at the magnificent Monk Coniston, a National Trust property, directly on the shores of Coniston Water.
HF Holidays skilled chefs will provide guests with cooked breakfast, picnic lunches and a sumptuous three course evening meal, using the best of local produce.
From £199 per person for two nights, £269 for three nights.
Prices quoted are based on two sharing a double or twin room and includes full-board accommodation, a full programme of guided walks, evening drinks reception and the services of experienced HF Holidays' leaders.
