New Facebook app lets fans vote for their favourite contestants - photo submissions and voting open now

 

Three winners to earn contracts for multiple sporting events,

 Cotai Strip Resorts Macao has launched an exciting Cotai Ring Girls competition via a new Facebook app at www.facebook.com/VenetianMacao. The contest lets hopefuls submit their best pose for a chance at winning one of three exclusive Cotai Ring Girl contracts, putting them in the spotlight at multiple sporting events, starting with Fists of Gold II at the CotaiArena™ July 27. Presented by Sands China Ltd. and Top Rank, the spectacular multi-bout card is headlined by Zou Shiming and Rex Tso, and also includes two world championship title fights.

 

Facebook fans will join a panel of judges in voting for their favourites in the Cotai Ring Girls competition, going on now until July 23. At stake are three top spots, with the winners each receiving MOP 25,000 in cash and an exclusive Cotai Ring Girl contract with Cotai Strip Resorts Macao. The winners are to be featured at multiple sporting events held at Cotai Strip Resorts Macao, the first of which is the upcoming Fists of Gold II, which provides international television exposure to over 50 countries, including on HBO2 and CCTV5, plus a live audience of over 10,000 people.

 

The Cotai Ring Girls competition will further reward its top 12 finalists, featuring them in the Cotai Ring Girls 2014 calendar, Cotai Style magazine, online and on-site in promotional activities and events, and more. Each of the 12 finalists also receives a pair of event and ferry tickets for Fists of Gold II.

 

In addition to the prestige of being crowned as the official Cotai Ring Girls, the three winners also receive a range of other exciting prizes, including:

• A gift basket from Shoppes Grand Canal, containing a bottle of Moët & Chandon champagne, Crabtree and Evelyn fragrances and 12 golden ingots
• A pair of VIP event and ferry tickets for Fists of Gold II
• Fists of Gold II photo opportunities with Zou Shiming, Rex Tso, Manny Pacquaio, Brandon Rios and ringside announcer "Big George" Foreman

 

Submissions and voting are open now at www.facebook.com/VenetianMacao, with the 12 finalists to be announced July 15. The three winners will be revealed at a July 25 press conference at The Venetian Macao.

 

In addition, fans can get even more involved in the Cotai Ring Girls contest with two lucky draws. Winners of a July 3-12 Weibo lucky draw get a pair of tickets to Fists of Gold II and get to meet the Cotai Ring Girls. And from July 15-25, Facebook fans can try to guess the three winners of the Cotai Ring Girls competition for a chance at winning a pair of Silver-tier tickets to Fists of Gold II, complimentary accommodation at The Venetian Macao on fight night, plus MOP 5,000 in Sands Rewards Dollars, redeemable for dining, shopping, accommodation, entertainment, and travel at Cotai Strip Resorts Macao.

 

The spectacular Fists of Gold II fight card brings two-time Olympic gold medallist and three-time Amateur World Champion Zou Shiming back to the ring in a flyweight matchup against Mexico's Jesus Ortega, and also features two world championship title fights - WBO/WBA flyweight champion Juan Estrada vs. Milan Melindo and IBF featherweight champion Evgeny Gradovich vs. Mauricio Muñoz, plus undefeated Hong Kong super flyweight Rex "The Wonder Kid" Tso in his Macao debut.
