Singapore, June 20th 2013 -With the recent launch of their new Americas brochure, Contiki Holidays (www.contiki.com) introduces an exciting new trip to add to their ski and snowboard offering. The first slopes package to be offered in Western Canada, 8-day The Powder Rush gives 18-35's the chance to shred the terrain at four of Canada's top resorts in Whistler, Kelowna and Banff. With plenty of inclusions and optionals at Contiki-only prices (i.e. lift tickets, rental gear), the trip offers guests maximum flexibility and plenty of activities to keep them busy off the slopes, too. Departures run from January 6th - March 24th 2014 and Contiki is offering an Early Payment Discount of 10% off for travellers who book and pay for their trip by August 29th, 2013* — that's US$156 off the cost of the The Powder Rush!
"The Powder Rush is a fantastic addition to our ski and snowboard offering, as Canada homes some of the best terrain in the world and people come from halfway across the world just to hit the epic slopes of Whistler and Banff," says Kevin Khor, Head of Sales & Marketing for Contiki Asia. "We're confident this will be a popular trip, even amongst Asians - it offers a well-rounded, affordable opportunity to experience the best of Western Canadian mountain culture."
The Powder Rush
Starting in Vancouver and ending in Calgary, 8-day The Powder Rush takes young travellers to hit the world famous slopes of Whistler, Kelowna and Calgary. Upon arrival at Whistler Blackcomb resort, guests get settled then head to an included dinner to get better acquainted with their fellow travellers before heading off on a sleigh ride! After a full day of zipping down the slopes at Whistler, it's back to Vancouver for sightseeing and a chance to check out the city's nightlife. The next day, travellers return to the great outdoors as the group heads to Kelowna where they'll visit a winery for a tasting in the famous Okanagan Valley. The next 3 nights are spent in Banff at Contiki's Special Stay Rocky Mountain Chalet, with a variety of epic resorts to choose from: Mt. Norquay, Lake Louise and Sunshine. Whether guests want to spend all day on the slopes or relax in the chalet or even try snowshoeing at Sunshine Resort, Banff is a haven for both adventure activities and relaxation alike. Before heading to Calgary the next day to depart, travellers share one last awesome experience together as they take a morning gondola ride up to the top of Sulphur Mountain for breakfast.
