New to West Country self-catering agency Helpful Holidays is Dove Cottage, a very stylish contemporary house for eight with panoramic views over the river Dart at Dittisham in Devon's South Hams.

Tucked high on the edge of the idyllically situated village, it has a huge width-of-house balcony to make the most of the views, perfect for a sundowner or stargazing.  A path winds down through the landscaped garden and lily ponds to a gate, which leads directly to the centre of Dittisham.
