Guests can save more than 15% on a cosy break with the 'Winter Warmer' deal, available to book Monday to Friday until 20 December 2019. The offer includes a complimentary crumpet tea for two on arrival, a three-course evening meal and full English breakfast.

Congham Hall is an ideal base for a winter break and its Fantastic Five… Norfolk Nature Trail encourages guests to get out and explore North Norfolk's winter highlights. The self-guided trail is free to download or available from the hotel reception and features one of the UK's top wildlife spectacles – the migration of 40,000 pink-footed geese and other wildfowl to the Wash. Other highlights include catching a glimpse of the newborn seal pups at nearby Blakeney Point, where England's largest colony of grey seals can be spotted on foot or by boat. 

Guests can borrow Dubarry boots, binoculars, maps and guidebooks for their day in the outdoors. On their return, guests can snuggle up by one of the three warming fires, in the sitting room, hall and library, or retreat to the Secret Garden Spa to rejuvenate weary limbs. Later, dinner is served in the hotel's 2 AA Rosette restaurant, where dishes feature seasonal produce, homegrown and locally sourced.

The 'Winter Warmer' offer costs £229 for Standard and Good House Rooms (normally £235 and £280); £249 for Better Garden Rooms (normally £300); and £299 for Better House, Best Garden and Best House rooms (normally £345-£365). It is based on two sharing a double or twin room. Complimentary use of the spa facilities is included.

Nicholas Dickinson and his team took over Congham Hall in March 2012. The hotel relaunched in May 2013 after completing the last phase of a major refurbishment. Nicholas has spent his entire working life in the luxury hotel business. Early on, he worked at the five-star country-house hotel Chewton Glen and Raymond Blanc's two-Michelin-starred restaurant and hotel, Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons. In 1994, Nicholas formed a partnership with Nigel Chapman, who had developed Woolley Grange in Wiltshire. Together, they created Luxury Family Hotels, which soon became the market leader in the UK for luxury family short breaks, and Alias Hotels, for the stylish mid-market corporate and leisure sectors. Both groups were successfully sold, and Nicholas and Nigel went on to develop Martinhal Resort on Portugal's Algarve. This is Nicholas's first independent hotel project.
