SINGAPORE - Concorde Hotel Singapore announced on the 17th October that it has received its second Hotel Security Excellence Award at an awards presentation ceremony held in conjunction with the annual Hotel Security Conference. In addition, five of our Hosts have also been commended for their honest, brave and vigilant acts.

"This accolade is a clear endorsement of our Team's efforts in providing a safe and secure environment for our Guests and Employees."

To qualify for the Hotel Security Excellence Award, hotels have to undergo a stringent audit which includes inspection of physical security, contingency and crisis plans, and training procedures. All documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) must be in compliance with Singapore Standards for Hotel Security (SS545).

This annual award is jointly presented by the Singapore Police Force, National Crime Prevention Council (NCPC) and the Singapore Hotel Association (SHA), graced by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Masagos Zulkifli, Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs and Foreign Affairs.
