A Comfort Inn hotel is now open here at 1410 Harrison Road.

Formerly a Hampton Inn, the hotel is owned and operated by Chartwell Hospitality of Brentwood, Tenn.

The hotel is currently undergoing renovations that include updates to guestrooms, pool area, meeting space and the hotel�s exterior. The lobby will be expanded to include a business center, fireplace, additional seating and high-speed Internet access. Renovations are expected to be completed by the end of February.

The Comfort Inn South features 112 units, meeting facility, heated indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center and guest laundry services.

Guestrooms feature king- or double-size beds, 25-inch remote-control cable television, free high-speed Internet access, coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, microwave and refrigerator. Handicapped and non-smoking rooms are available.

The Comfort Inn South is conveniently located to several area attractions including the World Arena, Seven Falls, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo and Fort Carson. Many restaurants and shops are within walking distance to the hotel.

The Comfort Inn hotel offers guests a complimentary USA TODAY newspaper each morning and a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast consisting of biscuits and gravy, eggs, waffles, French toast, bagels, breads, cereals, donuts, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juices.

Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for seniors, American Automobile Association members, business travelers, government and military personnel and groups. Children, ages 18 and under, stay for free when accompanied by an adult.
