Formerly a Great Western Inn, the hotel underwent $700,000 in renovations to convert to a Comfort Inn hotel. Renovations included a completely upgraded lobby area, new furniture, carpet, paint, bedding, lighting and wall coverings to guestrooms and improved exterior landscaping.
Owned and operated by Natvar Bhakta of Big Spring, Texas, the Comfort Inn hotel features 62-units, outdoor pool, business center, meeting facility, breakfast area and guest laundry services.
Guestrooms feature king- or queen-size beds, coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, workdesk, high-speed Internet access, remote-control cable television and hairdryer. Some rooms also feature a refrigerator and microwave.
Handicapped and non-smoking rooms are available. Rates begin at $55 and include a complimentary USA TODAY newspaper, free local telephone calls and complimentary hot breakfast consisting of eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, bagels, pastries, cereals, fresh fruit, milk, coffee, tea and juices.
Discounts are available when booked in advance on a space-available basis for seniors, American Automobile Association members, business travelers, government and military personnel and groups. Children, ages 18 and under, stay free when accompanied by an adult.
The hotel participates in Choice�s Choice Privileges rewards program where guests can earn points toward free stays, airline miles or gifts when staying at U.S. Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion and MainStay Suites hotels.
Guests can receive airline miles from participating airlines when staying at any Choice brand hotel.
